The ePetition is Live!
February 7, 2011
The ePetition to Save Standard Quay as a Working Boatyard is now live and can be signed (should you wish to do so). Click here.
It would be great to let Swale know just how much support there is to make sure we keep traditional skills and real jobs on Faversham Creek.

You have my heart felt support – signed the petition when I first read about this on In the Boat Shed – we have an important lesson to learn from Hamble – now a quaint theme park village.
You have my full support for Standard Quay Shipwrights.
But where is the petition? I “signed up” for something (a newsletter?) but cannot find where to sign so that your local Council will be able to se it.
Thanks – Paul

Sorry, Paul. I meant to email you and can’t remember if I did. The Council run petition had to close because of their rules
about not discussing a petition while it was still open. We have continued it on this site – although we haven’t yet worked out a good way to let people view it – that’s one of our many works in progress. If ypu go to top right of the page you should find the link. Many thanks. SQ
