Standard Quay 
I was horrified to read in the recent Coast magazine that this historic yard is in danger of closing and the nation losing those very precious skills, I assume The National Trust and/or English Heritage has been approached to help save this unique resource.
Only esterday I saw how the NT had saved the last spade maker in Northern Ireland. He was continuing the ctaft and selling the very special spades he was making.
TF1 News, leading French television, is very keen on doing a feature piece for its weekly prime time news programme on the Standard Quay.
